The Sliding Rocks of Racetrack Playa

Racetrack Playa is a dry lake bed where you can find rocks with a line behind them. This is because the rocks are moving for no reason. Leaving the painted line in the sand.
Many of them are very heavy and people are wondering how they move? And that nobody can know.
The climate there is very dry and it rains a few times a year. The shape of the line behind the rocks tells us that the rocks move when the ground is very soft and it’s impossible to think that moving an animal or a human.

Then you come to a new explanation. As there are prevailing winds, is thought to be the wind that moves the rocks because the curves have the lines behind the rocks are supposed to be painted according to wind direction.
The latest theory of this phenomenon is thought to move the rocks when this area is frozen, but experts say it's impossible because if it were the surface would not be marked that way.
Then everything we think about these rocks remains in doubt until confirmation of the causes.
